Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who is responsible

Dentospire Technologies LLP (milmilap) is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. Address: House No. 1936, Nagar Kada Road, Ashti, Kada (Beed), Ashti, Beed – 414202, Maharashtra, India.

What we collect

You give us

Email address — this is how you sign in. We send a code to it.
Mobile number — required at signup, and never shown to another member unless you approve a request to reveal it.
Date of birth — used to confirm you are 18+ and to show your age. The date itself is never shown to anyone; only your age is.
Gender, city, area, occupation, languages, what you’re looking for, your bio — your profile.
Photographs — reviewed before they appear.
Messages you send to other members.

We record as you use the service

Last activity time — this is what powers the online indicator. Other members only ever see a coarse label such as “Active today”, never a precise time.
Profile views — who viewed whom, and when. The person you viewed can see that you did.
Likes, blocks and reports.
Payment records — plan, amount, and the payment reference. We never see or store your card details; those go to our payment provider.

Why we use it

To run the service — show you people, deliver your messages, keep you signed in
To keep the platform safe — review photographs, investigate reports, remove accounts
To take payment and provide the membership you bought
To meet legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

What other members can see

Your display name, age, city, area, occupation, languages, intent, bio and approved photographs are visible to other members of the opposite gender who meet your and their filters. You can hide your age and your location from your profile settings.

Your email address is never shown to another member. Your mobile number is never shown unless you approve a specific request to reveal it, and before that it is masked.

When we read reported conversations

Your conversations are private. Nobody at milmilap reads them as a matter of course, and there is no way for us to browse them.

There is one exception. If a member reports a conversation — for harassment, abuse, a scam, or anything else — a moderator can open that conversation, and only that conversation, to decide what to do about it. We cannot do this for a conversation nobody has reported. A report is what unlocks it, and it stays limited to the exchange that was reported.

We do this because the alternative is deciding who to suspend or ban on an accusation alone, which is unfair both to the person reported and to the person who reported them.

Who else we share with

Payment provider (Razorpay) — to take and verify payment
Email provider (Resend) — to deliver your sign-in code
Hosting and storage (Vercel, Neon) — to run the service and store data
Law enforcement or courts — where legally required

How long we keep it

While your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your profile, photographs and messages. We retain a minimal record where we must: payment records for tax and accounting, and a record of accounts removed for serious breaches so the same person cannot immediately return. Old messages are purged on a schedule.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may:

Access a copy of your data — available from your profile page
Correct anything inaccurate — editable in the app
Erase your data — delete your account from your profile page
Complain — see grievance redressal, and you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our hosting providers in encrypted form. Sign in is by one-time code to your email; we never store a password. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the Board of a breach as the law requires.

Children

milmilap is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we remove such accounts as soon as we learn of them. If you believe a minor is using the service, report the profile — it is reviewed as a priority.
